Nubia Confirms New RedMagic Air Series Gaming Phone, RedMagic 11 Air

Nubia has officially confirmed the development of its next gaming-focused smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Air, expanding its popular RedMagic lineup. The upcoming device will succeed the RedMagic 10 Air, which was launched in China earlier this year, and is expected to bring notable performance and design upgrades aimed at mobile gamers.

The confirmation came directly from Jiang Chao, Product Manager for RedMagic gaming phones, who acknowledged the existence of the RedMagic 11 Air in a post on Weibo. He also reshared content from well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, reinforcing speculation that the launch is approaching.

Launch Timeline

According to Digital Chat Station, the RedMagic 11 Air is expected to debut in China in January 2026. While Nubia has not yet announced an official launch date or availability details for global markets, the early confirmation suggests that the company is gearing up for an early-year release.

Performance and Cooling

The RedMagic 11 Air is widely expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, positioning it among the most powerful Android smartphones of its generation. Staying true to RedMagic’s gaming DNA, the device is also tipped to feature an active cooling fan, designed to maintain peak performance during extended gaming sessions by effectively managing heat.

Display and Design

Leaks suggest that the phone will sport a large 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a full-screen design, thanks to an under-display front camera. This setup would offer an uninterrupted viewing experience, particularly appealing to gamers and multimedia users.

Camera and Battery

On the photography front, the RedMagic 11 Air is rumored to feature a 50MP primary rear camera, while the front-facing camera remains hidden beneath the display. The phone is also expected to house a large-capacity battery, though exact figures have not yet been revealed.

Memory and Storage

Additional reports indicate that the device could come with up to 24GB of RAM, aligning with RedMagic’s focus on extreme performance and multitasking, especially for high-end gaming and demanding applications.

What’s Next

Nubia has yet to share official specifications, pricing, or regional availability details. However, with a January 2026 launch window reportedly in place, more teasers, certifications, and leaks are expected to surface in the coming weeks.

If the leaks hold true, the RedMagic 11 Air could further strengthen Nubia’s position in the competitive gaming smartphone market by combining top-tier hardware, advanced cooling, and a truly immersive display.
