Students Can Submit Online Forms Until February 13; No Further Extension to Be Granted
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced an extension in the deadline for submission of online examination forms for the Class 10 annual examinations, providing relief to thousands of students across the city.
According to the official notification, students can now submit their examination forms without any late fee until February 13. The extension applies to both regular and private candidates from the Science and General groups.
In a special move, government schools have been allowed to submit examination forms without any fee, following directives issued by BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho. The decision aims to facilitate students enrolled in public sector institutions and ensure smooth processing of exam registrations.
However, the board has clearly stated that no further extension will be granted beyond the announced dates.
Revised Late Fee Schedule
Students who fail to submit their forms by February 13 will be required to pay late fees according to the following schedule:
- February 16 to 20: Rs500
- February 23 to 27: Rs800
- March 2 to 5: Rs1,200
- March 6 to 11: Rs1,500
- March 12 to 17: Rs1,800
BSEK has advised students and schools to complete the submission process as early as possible to avoid unnecessary late charges and last-minute issues.
The extension comes at a time when education boards across Pakistan are updating examination procedures, including the introduction of new requirements for matric and intermediate students appearing in annual exams.
Students are encouraged to regularly check official BSEK announcements and complete their online submissions within the stipulated timelines.
